This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User," "Parent," or "Guardian") and Cypress Avenue Design, LLC ("Developer") for use of the PointSprout mobile application ("App"). By accepting the Agreement in the App, or by using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
PointSprout is intended for use by parents and legal guardians who are 18 years of age or older. The primary management interface is designed exclusively for adults.
PointSprout includes a child-facing mode that allows children to view their points and available rewards in a simplified interface. All content visible in child-facing mode — including reward options, point reasons, and balances — is determined entirely by the parent or guardian. Children may not modify settings, add content, or access the parent management interface.
By enabling child-facing mode, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child using that interface and that you take full responsibility for supervising their use.
PointSprout does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Data about a child (name, birthday, photo) is entered by a parent or guardian and is stored privately within that family's account. On a parent-configured kid device, a child may pick a new profile photo or background image, which takes effect only after a parent reviews and approves it. No child data is shared with third parties, used for advertising, or disclosed outside the family's account.
If you believe a child has independently created an account, contact the Developer immediately.
Family data is stored securely using Google Firebase/Firestore, a third-party cloud service, under your authenticated account. Data is accessible only to members of your family group (invited parents/guardians). The Developer does not access, review, or use your family's data for any purpose other than operating the App.
Profile photos and other media are stored in Firebase Storage and are not publicly accessible.
This App does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking of any kind. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You agree to use PointSprout only in a positive, supportive, and constructive manner consistent with the wellbeing of the children in your care. The point system is intended as a motivational tool, not a means of punishment, coercion, or harm.

The Developer reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
PointSprout is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 14 days); the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless it is canceled at least 24 hours beforehand. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you subscribe, or when your free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period or trial. Current pricing is shown in the App Store at the point of purchase.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
The Developer's total liability for any claim under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The Developer may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
